There is a required pre-course conference for parents/guardians, scoutmasters, venturing advisors, skippers and participants.

***All Scouts and staff participating in the November NYLT course are required to show proof of a negative COVID test adminstered within 72 hours prior to arriving in camp for BOTH weekends, regardless of vaccination status.

National Youth Leadership Training conforms to all State of New Jersey camping standards. The State of New Jersey requires that unvaccinated individuals  provide proof of a negative COVID test completed 72 hours prior to arriving in camp and have a  midweek test provided on site by camp utilizing authorized personnel. Any participant who shows proof of vaccinations completed a minimum of two weeks before arriving on course will not need to provide COVID test results or be tested midweek.
