This form is for registrations for Philmont 2027.

Upon registration, a $670 deposit is required to secure the spot. Initial deposit can be made directly online, by check mailed to the council service center, or by visiting one of the Scout shops.  Completion of the online registration is required regardless of payment method.

There is an additional 3% charge for all credit card payments, which is the council's cost.  The 3% credit card processing fee is the same regardless of paying directly online or through the council office and Scout shops.  Payments by cash or check will not incur a 3% processing fee.

Subsequent payments are due per the payment schedule below - either online or directly to Patriots' Path Council:

2027 Payment Schedule:
$670 deposit
$600 on or before 4/15/2026
$600 on or before 6/15/2026
$600 on or before 8/15/2026
$600 on or before 10/15/2026
$600 on or before 2/15/2027
​$TBD on or before 4/15/2027 (additional payment if needed due to fuel cost or other factors)

There will be a supplemental fee charged to each member of a crew that has less than 12 members.  The fee will equal $70 multiplied by the number of crew members under the required 12.  (Example: A crew member’s fee would be $140 higher for a crew with only 10 members).

If the number of crews is fewer than 12 on May 1, 2026, Patriots’ Path Council reserves the right to cancel one or more contingents, and/or to reassign crews from canceled contingents to open slots in the remaining contingents.  Deposits will be returned to any crew whose contingent is canceled by the council, and that crew will be given priority choice in the 2028 contingents.

12 day Philmont Trek
Round Trip Airfare to CO
Bus transportation in CO, 6 meals, 2 nights
Round Trip Bus CO to Philmont
Hike in Garden of the Gods or Red Rocks
Visit summit of Pike’s Peak
Whitewater rafting on AR River
Hotel lodging / activity center in CO Springs

Trip Insurance:
Patriots’ Path Council does not provide trip insurance for its Philmont participants as it is less expensive for individuals to purchase trip insurance for themselves than it is for the council to purchase a group policy.  The council strongly recommends that each family consider purchasing trip insurance that may best meet their needs.

TBD Payment:
For all High Adventure programs offered by the Patriots’ Path Council, a great deal of planning and purchasing takes place well in advance.  This includes plane and bus transportation, lodging, program activities, meal plans, brochures, etc. where costs may not be 100% determined at time of budgeting.  The TBD payment allows a lower budged overall cost with the understanding any increase of fees will be added to the last payment if needed.
