NY/NJ Baykeeper is an environmental organization that serves as the citizen advocate for the harbors, bays, streams, and shores of the NY-NJ Harbor Estuary by preserving and restoring habitat, influencing land use decisions, stopping polluters, championing public access and educating the public. They work with federal and state regulators and citizen groups as partners in planning for a sustainable future for the NY-NJ Harbor Estuary.

They are excited to share their knowledge and expertise to teach Sustainability and it's importance to our Scouts! Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Prerequisites: 1; 2. Water (A and B), 2 .Food (A), 2. Energy (B or C), 2. Stuff: (3a, 3b, 4) ,and 6

*Please Note: If a scout has not completed the prerequisite requirements, that scout will be rewarded with a partial. Requirements will be deemed satisfied and badges recognized as completed at the discretion of the merit badge counselor, and in accordance with the BSA merit badge guidelines.
