Ramapo Valley District is pleased to announce the Merit Badge of the Month program!

Looking for a fun, structured way to keep your Scout motivated and advancing all year long? Our Merit Badge of the Month program gives Scouts the opportunity to explore new subjects, develop real-world skills, and make steady progress toward their goals.

Each month features a different badge — offering hands-on learning, engaging discussions, and guidance from experienced merit badge counselors.

- Build confidence & leadership skills
- Discover new interests and talents
- Make consistent progress toward Eagle

Personal Management

If any requirements are unable to be completed on site, those requirements will be reviewed after the roundtable meeting, upon completion

Scholarship

Bring these with you:

- Get a note from the principal of your school (or another school official named by the principal) that states that during the past year your behavior, leadership, and service have been satisfactory.

ONE of the following:

(a) Show that you have had an average grade of B or higher (80 percent or higher) for one term or semester.

(b) Show that for one term or semester you have improved your school grades over the previous period.
 

- With your counselor's and your parent or guardian's approval, interview two professionals. You will have the opportunity to interview at least one professional at the roundtable!

Cell Phones are allowed and will be incorporated in the session if they are available.
