FAQs

What meals are provided?

Food will be given out Friday night, Saturday all day, and Sunday morning. Please just take note of food allergies when you register.

My youth has a food allergy / medication to be taken care of, who can I notify?

When you register there should be a spot to put in any food allergies your youth has and any medical concerns that need to be attended to. Our on-site EMT will take care of anything medically related and our kitchen staff will take care of any allergies.

My youth is no longer interested in the Order of the Arrow, has moved, or has since left Scouts BSA, who can I notify to stop receiving updates?

Please email vc-inductions@oaix.nnjbsa.org and lodgeadviser@oaix.nnjbsa.org together in an email and we will confirm with you that your information will be removed so you do not receive emails anymore.

Due to my religious beliefs I am unable to attend Saturday, are there other events on different days?

Currently this is an ongoing topic that has remained without a solution for now. Once there are updates or any major decisions on this topic, an email will be sent out and this page will be updated.

How can I update my email or contact information for this?

We use a system called Lodgemaster that handles all our emails, contact and other information for the youth and parents. If you wish to update your email or contact information you may use this link: https://portal.oa-bsa.org/ and click on your youth's / your name under Member Portal.

I'm not receiving any email updates, is this an issue?

If you are not receiving ANY emails then yes please send an email to vc-inductions@oaix.nnjbsa.org and lodgeadviser@oaix.nnjbsa.org together, however, there will not be many emails sent about the Induction events in general. The only emails that will be sent out are reminders for registration, and any important updates to the registration page that have a major effect.

Who do I contact for questions or comments, concerns, etc.?

Please feel free to email vc-inductions@oaix.nnjbsa.org and lodgeadviser@oaix.nnjbsa.org

together and it should only take a few hours for us to get back to you.
