Into the Woods is an opportunity for Arrow of Light (AOL) Scouts to meet local Scouts BSA Troops and for Troops to help Cub Scouts work on their AOL rank.

Troops participate in Into the Woods by hosting an activity station, themed around AOL rank requirements, also known as adventures. Scouts BSA Troops that participate in Into the Woods can earn up to two camping nights for rank advancement and earn community service hours for hosting and participating in an activity station.

All AOL participants will receive a Scouting America New Hampshire first aid kit with 166 pieces. Additional kits are available for purchase at $15.00 each.

9/6/2025 UPDATES:

1) The program guide is now available for download under Attachments.  Attending Troops - this guide will help you plan the program you will deliver for the AOLs on Saturday.

2) Your event planning committee is aware that some AOL Dens are not able to register 2 adult leaders from their Pack.  This can cause problems while trying to register due to the "2-deep leadership" logic built into the registration.  Please see the attachment "Into the Woods - How to Register Less Than 2 Pack Leaders" to get through this roadblock.  We will help you match up with a "buddy Den" for the weekend.
