About C.L.A.W. (Cub Scout Leader Adventure Weekend)

What will this training provide you? Position specific training that will take place in the morning covering all positions in a Cubmaster, Asst. Cubmaster, Den Leader, Asst. Den Leader and Pack Committee BALOO – This training will allow units to bring more of the outdoors to your youth. Topics that are covered range from campsite selection, meal planning to GPS. 

This is an overnight training requiring participants to camp out. BALOO participants are required to take the online training and provide proof of completion prior to attendance.  Part A and B of the BSA medical form will be required to be brought with you upon arrival.

If I am already Position Specific Trained, can I just attend the BALOO portion? Yes

Attention Scouts BSA Leaders

Do you want to complete all your training in one weekend? If yes, then SLAW, “Scout Leader Adventure Weekend”, is for you.

What will this training provide you?

Position-specific training that will take place in the morning covering all positions in a Scoutmaster, Asst. Scoutmaster,  and Troop Committee

IOLS – This training will allow units to bring more of the outdoors to your youth. Topics that are covered range from campsite selection, meal planning to GPS.

This is an overnight training and will require participants to camp out.  Part A and B of the BSA medical form will be required to be brought with you upon arrival.

IOLS and BALOO will begin at 8:00 AM on Saturday, Sept 27th

Leader Specific Training will begin at 12 Noon on Sunday, Sept 28th

Registration closes on Friday, Sept 12 at 11:59 PM.
