Want to learn the magic that goes on behind the scenes? Want to learn and advance your leadership skills? If you have Scouts or Venturers who will be 14 or 15 this summer, consider sending them to be a part of the Griswold Scout Reservation CIT Program! 

The CIT program at GRS is now a full summer program.  This is to allow a fuller understanding of what it is to be on camp staff and to start the training needed to allow a scout to be a great staff member in the future.

This is a FREE volunteer opportunity with a summer long commitment. 

The applicants will need to be present for Staff Training June 22 through 28.

The CIT Participants will be placed in a different program area each week they are available.  CIT will have the flexibility to be "campers" with their troop if they so choose.  If they have other commitments ie: Philmont or the like, family vacation, school related commitments, please let us know so we can accommodate.  However we would like the participants to get as many weeks training as possible.

Participants will have ample opportunities to earn advancement while at camp.

CIT's will receive a camp class-b shirt and be expected to have their regular scout uniform.   Shorts are highly recommended.
