Join us as we explore our overnight camp together.   

Akela Camp is held at Camp Carpenter in Manchester, NH. It is a three-day, two-night camping experience designed for the family. The program offers an introduction to Cub Scout resident camping and provides Cub Scouts and their families with fun, adventure, and educational outdoor opportunities. During your time at camp, you will become part of a pack and a den, which will help parents and cubs function like normal pack members. All adventures are designed to strengthen the group into a cohesive unit.

Attending as a Den is an excellent opportunity that is encouraged but not required. For Webelos, it is a great way to provide an exciting finish to their time together in Cub Scouts.  

WHO CAN ATTEND 

• Tiger Cubs (Grade 1 in Fall of 2025)
• Wolf Scouts (Grade 2 in Fall of 2025)
• Bear Scouts (Grade 3 in Fall of 2025)
• Webelos (Grade 4 in Fall of 2025) 
• Arrow of Light (Grade 5 in Fall of 2025)
• Adult Leader/Parent

Sleeping:  Each Campsite has pre-assembled platform tents (2 cots in each tent)

Dining:  You will get to eat in the Dining Hall and participate in mealtime activities with our camp staff
