2025 Klondike Derby

Bring your Troop’s provisions, because this year’s Klondike theme is “the Donner Rescue”.   Get ready to stomp the same grounds as the infamous Donner Party, in the snowy beauty of Prosser Reservoir.  Hone your winter survival, and cold weather camping skills.  Stay tuned for the Leaders’ Guide.  Just like the initial Donner expedition, food is not included.

February 7-9, 2025 at Prosser Resevoir 

Check in 4:00pm – 8:00pm on the 7th

Ends 5pm on Saturday, Feb 8th.  Units are encouraged to depart, but may camp on their own Saturday evening.

This fun winter-time event includes:

• Snow Camping

• Snow Snakes

• Firemanship

• First Aid 

• Orienteering 

• Scout Woods Skills

• Pioneering

• And Sled Races!

Arrow of Lights are welcome to come to Klondike.  They pay the same fee as the Scouts.  They MUST be attached to a Scouts BSA unit to attend. They will be participating in the same program as the Scouts. AOLs MAY camp if they meet all other camping requirements like Baloo training and adult leadership ratios. Otherwise, they are also welcome to attend just for the day.

Participant Early Bird Registration  $15.00 per person until January 24th, Regular pay after January 24 is $22

Staff Fees - $20 includes 4 meals
