Camp Fleischmann Celebration in July of 2025
WHAT:
This will be the final Nevada Area Council activity for Scouts, Scouters and Friends at Camp Fleischmann.
It will be an opportunity to remember a day at Camp Fleischmann, an opportunity for a last splash in Lake Fleischmann, Thanksgiving Service, a chance to reminisce and a closing Campfire.
This is camping on your own, so Be Prepared, as there is no power or water at Camp.
This is strictly:
- Bring your own water for the weekend
- Food being provided: Friday Night - cracker-barrel; Saturday - Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and post campfire cracker-barrel provided; Sunday - dine and dash breakfast. Participants should bring their own snacks if desired. (None will be available for sale)
- Bring your own chairs and camp table
- Bring your own utensils, plates and cups
- Bring your own tent and sleeping bags
- Bring your Camp Fleischmann Spirit
- Please bring and wear your old Scout uniform for flags and especially for Campfire.
- Bring your Teddy Bear – and all your courage
REQUIREMENTS:
- All participants must be checked-in at Camp Fleischmann and receive a colored wristband.
- All registered Scouts and Scouters must bring their Scouting America medical forms parts A & B
- Any Alumni or visitor spending the night must fill out and bring the Scouting America medical forms parts A & B
- Any Alumni or visitor visiting for the day who wants to participate in Waterfront Activities must complete the Scouting America medical forms parts A & B
- Any Scout, Scouter, Alumni or visitor visiting for the day must sign a Scouting American Code of Conduct.
- Registered Scouts and Scouters may camp in Tannu, Manzanita or Staff Village campsites.
- All Alumni and Visitors must camp in the Deer Creek campsite.
CAMPING PLAN:
The plan is to partially recreate a day at Camp, with morning flags, activities, free time, and a Closing Campfire.
Closing Campfire – We will have a Camp Fleischmann Closing Campfire run by the Staff but put on by the participants. If you want to sign up to participant in the Campfire please email Jim Ferrigan and let him know. ferriganis@gmail.com.
WHEN:
July 11-13, 2025
The check-in will be on Friday evening in Main Camp.
The activities will be on Saturday night and departure on Sunday Morning.

Order from the online store by June 23rd. Your order will ship to the Council Office. Items can be picked up at the Scout Shop on July 9th or 10th, or they will be available on July 11th at CF during the Celebration Weekend.
