2026 National Jamboree

Sign up today if you’re interested in participating. We are getting ready to organize our contingent to the 2026 National Jamboree. Having a sense of who’s interested will help us with communication about important dates, interviews for adult leadership, timelines, and more; it will also help us to get a sense of how many boys and girls are interested as we set up our contingent troops.

Currently, we are planning on (1) male half Troop and (1) female half Troop.  A half Troop is comprised of 18 youth and 2 adult leaders.  These Troops can grow depending on the amount of youth who put deposits down.  There is no cost to let us know you are interested.  Please register here to indicate your interest to attend if you have not done so already.  You do not need to put down a deposit to indicate interest, however a deposit must be received no later than April 30, 2025 to reserve your spot in the contingent.

The estimated cost for each youth and adult participant has increased slightly from 2023 and will be about $4,000.  We are working diligently to keep costs to a minimum while providing the best experience for the Scouts as possible.  For youth and adult attendees, a deposit of $250 is required by April 30, 2025.  Youth can make deposits thru the Council office at any time between now and April 30, 2025.  For adults, do not make a deposit until you are notified that you will be part of the leadership team.

The payment schedule will be as follows:  $250 by 4/30/25, $300 each month 6/1/25 thru 5/1/26, and final payment of $150 by 6/1/26.  Earlier payments are acceptable.

Providing that we can fill the half Troops, we are looking into 1-3 days of touring in the Washington D.C. or surrounding areas.  Once leadership is chosen and we have a better idea of the actual number of attendees, potential touring options will be finalized.  If we are unable to fill either half Troop this could affect our touring options.

Should something unforeseen develop for your youth before October 1, 2025, there will be an opportunity for a full refund, except for the initial deposit, if unable to attend.
