Scouting for Clean Waterways Patch Order

Welcome to Scouting For Clean Waterways!
In celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Conservation Good Turn for America, Scouting America is joining the nationwide initiative aimed at addressing the critical issue of waterway and marine debris, “aquatic trash”, offering Scouts the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our waterways and ecosystems.
We are encouraging Mid America Council Scouts to partner with a local organization to help clean up a waterway in their community. To recognize Scouts' hard work, we are creating a yearly patch to celebrate a different body of water in our Council. This year is the Mighty Missouri River. Patches are available for preorder at $4. Any proceeds from patch sales will benefit conservation projects at Camp Cedars and Eagle. This year's patch is the icon above this text.
Cub Scout projects should last 1-2 hours. Troop projects should last between 2-4 hours. A scout is trustworthy -- we trust that patches will only be purchased for those who have participated in a project.
*The patch order closes at midnight on November 2 and will be placed on November 3. There will be no additional orders.*

After the completion of your Scouting for Clean Waterways’ project, we need you to report your event so that we can truly show the ripple effect being accomplished by the Scouting America units.
If you are doing the project as an individual or unit, please have your leadership report it through Scoutbook+. Click here to learn how to record it. This way the individual Scouts will get the information recorded on their records.
