UNO Aviation Program Post #518

Event Details

Are you interested in becoming an airline pilot? What about an airport administrator? Have you ever thought of being an air traffic controller? Or what about working for an aircraft management company? If any of these jobs sound interesting to you, then join Post 518, the University of Nebraska at Omaha Aviation Institute’s Aviation Exploring Post. The aviation and aerospace industries are exciting, dynamic, and ever-changing. In Post 518 you will be given the latest information available on careers in aviation and aerospace through tours, flight simulation, guest speakers, and interactive learning. The group will meet once a month, usually on a Saturday, for 5-6 meetings throughout the year. We invite you to join us for our initial meeting on Thursday, August 31, 2017, on the UNO Campus in the Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center, Room 201 at 6:00 PM. This meeting will last approximately 1 hour. Parents and friends are welcome to attend as well. Light refreshments will be served.
