OA Work Day at Camp Wa-kon-da

Event Details

KIT-KE-HAK-O-KUT LODGE is in the final steps for building the structure for the NEW ADIRONDACK SHELTER at CAMP WA-KON-DA!

We are looking for volunteers to assist with ALL TASKS.  The final steps are to complete the trim, siding, stairs, and roof.  We also need laborers to help with the process.  Here are the details for the last two dates:

When:  Sunday, October 9th OR Sunday, October 23rd (start time: 1:00 PM)

What to bring If you have them, we could use tape measurers, ladders, hammers, and screw guns.  Bring a tool belt if you have one.  Please wear appropriate work clothing (jeans, shirt, boots, gloves, hat).  Bring a water bottle, bug spray, and sunscreen.

Where: CAMP WA-KON-DA, 402 Forest Drive Bellevue NE 68005 (meet in the south campsite)

Purpose:  This is a great way earn service hours and to give back to the LODGE and to CAMP WA-KON-DA!!  This also fulfills the service grant we were awarded by the Order of the Arrow.
