Event Details

The Ralston Fire Department invites you to help build your future career in emergency response services, participate in community outreach and meet the challenges of a highly competitive program. The goal of this program is to introduce you to the exciting field of firefighting and EMT through hands-on experiences. Work alongside professionals in this career and see what they do day to day in the world of firefighting! WHO: Youth 14-18 years old interested in a career in Fire Fighting/ EMS. 

WHEN: The Ralston Fire Exploring Post will meet twice per month from January- December. See attached schedule for specific dates and activities for the first semester (January- May). The first meeting will take place on January 16th from 7-9 pm. Parents are encouraged to attend the first meeting to ask any questions and sign waivers.

WHERE: All meetings will be held at the Ralston Fire Department at 7629 Park Dr. Ralston, Nebraska 68127

COST: The cost of the program is $55/ youth and includes all sessions and materials as well as supplemental accident/ sickness insurance provided by the Boy Scouts of America.
