The Mid-America Council is sponsoring this NRA Instructor class.  Volunteer BSA Shooting Sports personnel, who are certified NRA Training Counselors, will be conducting the courses using approved NRA training materials.  The course will aim to certify participants as an NRA Pistol Instructor upon the successful passing of all tests.

 

The courses are designed to train experienced shooters how to teach the NRA Basic Pistol Course to Boy Scouts (if approved by the BSA), Venturers, and their leaders as NRA certified instructors.

 

The cost of the course is payable upon registration and is NOT REFUNDABLE. Registration will close April 28 at midnight. 

 

Overnight housing will be available if needed.  Participants must bring their own bedding and personal gear.  Scout uniforms are not required to be worn during the training course.  All training and meals will be held in the Heritage Lodge at Camp Cedars and all shooting will occur at the pistol range at Camp Cedars.
