Cub Scout Day Camp

"Be Prepared" - it's the Scout motto. Are you prepared for an emergency? Do you know how to do first aid? Come join the "Rescue Team" at Swan Lake State Park to learn about first responders, what to do in an emergency, and practice first aid skills. Other activities included at day camp will be shooting sports, STEM, games and more! Day camps are for registered Cub Scouts entering the 1st-5th grades the following school year. Those entering the 1st grade must be accompanied by an 'adult partner' during their participation. Although individual Cub Scouts are able to participate in any day camp, it is strongly encouraged for Cub Scouts to attend with their friends and adults from the same den or pack; and for the pack's camping coordinator to submit a single registration for all those attending. Cub Scout Day Camps are organized by the Mid-America Council, Boy Scouts of America and conducted by volunteers from the local area. Day camps are also supported by a number of adult and youth staff members. Scouts BSA Den Chiefs may also support the day camp program by assisting the Cub Scouts throughout the camp.

When:  Friday, August 5th, 9:00AM - Saturday August 6th, 3:00PM (9:00AM to 3:00PM both days)

Cost:  

• Scouts: $40 ($35 if paid by July 22nd)
• Friends/Siblings (Non-BSA Registered Youth): $40 ($35 if paid by July 22nd)
• Adult Partner: FREE (optional t-shirt purchase until July 8th)
• Scouts BSA Den Chief: FREE (includes t-shirt if registered by July 8th)
• Adult Staff: FREE (includes t-shirt if registered by July 8th)
• Walk-ins: $55 (no t-shirt or patch)
• Includes: Program supplies, snack, t-shirt (if registred by July 8th) and patch for Scouts and siblings/friends.
