Fall Induction & Vigil Weekend

Congratulations to the newest candidates who will complete their induction into the Order of the Arrow as Scouting's National Honor Society at this weekend! This weekend will feature inductions for new members, Brotherhood membership conversions, service opportunities, training features, and activities. Included in the weekend cost is OA sash for Induction Candidates, Brotherhood Candidates, and Vigil Candidates, OA lodge patch, OA handbook, OA medallion, weekend patch, and meals (Saturday breakfast to Sunday breakfast). 

All attendees must show a completed current BSA Annual Health & Medical Record (parts A-B) at time of event sign-in.

WHO:
  Newly elected candidates for membership
  All Arrowmen

WHEN:
  Fall Induction Weekend
  October 18-20; 6pm Fri - 10am Sun;
  (plan to check-in between 6-8pm on Friday)
  7pm Sat is when dinner concludes and games begin

  Vigil Weekend
  October 19-20; 4pm Sat - 10am Sun
  (plan to check-in no earlier than 3:30pm on Saturday)

WHERE:
  Camp Eagle - 2911 County Road 15, Cedar Bluffs, NE 68015

COST (includes weekend patch, meals, program):
  Induction Candidate (Newly Elected Member) $55
  Brotherhood Candidate* $55 or $50 if paid by October 4
  Vigil Candidate* $55 or $50 if paid by October 4
  Member* for Fall Weekend and/or Vigil Weekend $30 or $25 if paid by October 4
  Saturday Banquet Only $12 (check-in no earlier than 3:30 pm)
  *A $5 walk-in fee will be assessed, pre individual, after October 14

TO BRING:

  • Ordeal Candidates: Packing List / Weekend Information
  • full Scout uniform (expected to wear for Saturday night ceremonies & banquet)
  • completed current BSA Annual Health & Medical Record (parts A-B) at time of event sign-in
  • clothes for work projects including work gloves
  • water bottle
  • regular equipment needed for an overnight camping trip including tent and backpack to carry/store all personal gear (cooking gear not needed). Tent utilized only on Saturday night.
