General information:

We plan to send a 40-person Troop to the 2026 National Scout Jamboree. Space is limited and registering early will help secure your spot! 

Youth requirement:  Scouts must be at least 12 years old and First Class rank by the time of the contingent's departure.  All Scouts must be younger than 21 for the duration of the trip.

Adult requirement:  Adults attending with the council's contingent must be registered in a local unit, be over the age of 21, interviewed by the Jamboree committee, and be approved by the Scout Executive prior to being able to register online. Adult Leader Application

Dates:  July 22-31, 2026 (for those wishing to add the DC trip the dates are tentatively July 19-31)

Location:  Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve (aka The Summit), West Virginia

Cost:  $2,800 - $3,100 for non-DC trip
           $3,900 - $4,200 for DC trip 
This price is based on the Early Bird pricing that concludes on October 1, 2025. Registering after October 1, 2025 the base pricing will increase $350. 
Cost will include Jamboree fee, transportation, shirts, patches, patrol and troop equipment, training camp before the jamoboree,  insurance, contingent mementos. Your expenses will be personal equipment, uniforms and spending money.

A $300 deposit required to reserve a spot in the contingent and a full payment schedule is available in the attachments section to the right on this page.  All fees must be paid by March 2, 2026.
