Haunted Family Weekend at Camp Cedars

Event Details

All Scouts and their family members of all ages are welcome and invited to attend another fun outdoor event at Camp Cedars! This weekend is intended to bring Scouting families to camp where they can enjoy time in the outdoors exploring and learning together.

The activities and program this weekend will have a family-friendly haunted/halloween theme with fun for all ages. Program activities may include rock climbing, range and target activities, fishing, nature hikes, outdoor games, STEM and handicraft activities, a haunted adventure trail, a haunted house, and MORE! Saturday program will culminate with a costume parade and campfire.

WHEN 
Program will take place on Saturday, October 26th from 8:30am - 8:30pm. Packs and families are welcome to camp on Friday night and/or Saturday night at no extra charge.

WHO
All Cub Scouts and Scouts, BSA members and their families. 

COST

  • Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Siblings 5+ & Adults:
    $15 until Sept 14
    $20 Sept 15-Oct 19
    $25 Oct 20 or later
     
  • Siblings 4 and Under: $5
     
  • Haunted Weekend T-shirts (Available until Oct 9)
    $10 for Participants (+$2 for 2XL or 3XL)
    $5 for Staff (+$2 for 2XL or 3XL)
     
  • Cabin Rentals Available! Cabins are available for $35 per night. Cabins are for individual families only due to Youth Protection policies. All cabins have heat, AC, ceiling fan, and front porch. Linens and pillows are not provided. Rent yours today! *Cabins can be rented on your registration under the contact section. Friday and Saturday must be rented separately*

WHAT'S INCLUDED

  • Lunch, program, and an event patch for all youth and adults. (Patches will be delievered to District Roundtables following the event)

WHAT TO BRING

  • Annual Health & Medical Record for every attendee (this will be kept on your person at all times)
  • Clothing appropriate to the weather ("Be Prepared" for changes! All persons on camp must wear closed toed shoes at all times)
  • Personal gear (water bottle, camera, money for the trading post, day pack, etc)
  • Meals if staying overnight 
  • Tent/sleeping gear if staying overnight
  • Toiletries if staying overnight
