Cub Scout Camp Coordinator Training

Join the Camping Leadership team to learn more about 2021 Camping opportunities for your Cub Scouts! It is encouraged for each Pack to have their unit represented to gather and share this information. The goals of these meetings include the following:

• Leaders are knowledgeable about Camp Amikaro
• Leaders understand the spring 2021 timeline for preparing for camp
• Leaders learn about the Camp Card campaign and how it can benefit their Scouts
• Leaders understand the value of encouraging each Scout to participate in at least one of the camping opportunities
• Leaders will receive inspiration towards full participation from many families from your pack

We all understand the value of camping, but did you know that 53% of Cub Scouts who attend resident camp cross over into Scouts BSA? Camping provides opportunities for families to disconnect from the screens and other distractions, as well as focus on the outdoors and the many other opportunities that families join scouting for, plus camping in general ROCKS!
