About the Carpenters Union:

The Carpenters Union started in 1881. The Omaha Locals represent over 1250 active members. They are highly skilled, trained professionals in the fields of Carpentry, Interior Systems and Millwright work. Carpenters (Local 427) represents piledrivers, form carpenters, bridge and dock workers, scaffold erectors, riggers, welders and others. Interior Systems (Local 1306) represent skilled in framing, drywall, plastering, and ceiling installation. Millwrights (Local 1643) consists of machine installation as well as maintenance, erectors, welders and much more.
