Chain Saw Safety Training

$10 per participant

This training course is required to be able to utilize a chain saw at any properties owned or operated by the Mid-America Council. Cost will cover lunch and training materials. 

The training covers the proper maintenance, personal protective equipment, and correct technique of safe chain saw operation.

Chain saw operators (and course participants) must be at least 18 years old to comply with BSA standards.  To remain currently trained, the course must be renewed every 2 years.
