From Dog Care and Nuclear Science to Citizenship in the Nation and Environmental Science, we've got a merit badge for everyone at the Columbus Merit Badge College. Must purchase lunch ticket to eat lunch in cafeteria at college. Be sure to review any prerequisite requirements in the Leader Guide. Scouts should come prepared to learn and participate. Remember that our instructors are volunteering their time – we ask that Scouts are courteous and kind. Disruptive Scouts may be asked to leave. Scouts who do not participate in class may not have requirements marked as complete.“
To be successful at this event, Scouts need only do their best.
When: Saturday, March 23, 8 AM - 4 PM
Where: Central Community College, 4500 63rd St, Columbus, NE
Cost:
- Scouts - $10 if paid by 11:59 PM March 17, $20 if paid by 11:59 PM March 20 (does not include $10 meal ticket)
- Walk- In Fee - $30 (starts March 21)
- Adults - Free (does not include $10 meal ticket)
- Meal Ticket- $10
- Includes: folder, one pencil, 5 sheets of blank paper, schedules, amd a blue card, supplies for classes
***Wear Class A Uniform.
***Please bring a merit badge workbook with prerequisites done and signed by the Scoutmaster, completed health form of Part A & B, and if requested an Activity Consent Form.
Cancellation Policy
Fees for most district and council activities are transferable to other Scouts within the unit. Partial refunds may be approved for alll activities/events/camping programs including Cub Scout Family Weekends, Cub Scout Day Camps, Summer Resident Camps, MAC High Adventure Contingents, National Youth Leadership Training, Wood Badge, and Powder Horn. If approved, the refundable amount will be returned using the original method of payment, if possible. Refunds will not be considered for requests made more than two weeks from the conclusion of the activity/event/camp. There will be no refunds under $10.00. Refunds will only be considered if one of the following circumstances applies, and will not exceed 80% of the fees paid.
You must provide supporting documentation for consideration.
Sickness or injury (requires physician’s note)
Death in immediate family (requires copy of obituary)
Relocation outside Mid‐America Council borders (requires copy of new BSA registration or military orders)
