Aviation Merit Badge

(this is a 3-part series, so please read description below carefully)

There will be 3 sessions:  The first 2 are mandatory and the 3rd is a flying opportunity in which Scouts could elect to do an alternate activity on their own and still complete the Aviation Merit Badge.

SCOUT MUST BE STAR RANK OR HIGHER TO PARTICIPATE

This series is limited to 10 participants.  We will have a wait list.  (Minimum of 6 participants to hold)

Parents are welcome to attend any and all sessions.  Younger siblings are asked to not attend.

Sessions are subject to weather conditions and alternate dates will be determined if weather interferes with a session.

When:  Session #1 : Saturday, June 3 ~ 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

                    Location :  EAA80 ABLE ACE (In Oak View Mall)  3001 S 144th Street, Omaha, NE  68144

                               ***Please bring a sack lunch.  Pop or water will be provided.  We will take a half hour break for lunch.

              Session #2 :  Saturday, June 10 ~ 9 a.m. - noon

                     Location :  Millard Airport, 6161 S 132nd Street, Omaha, NE  68137

               Session #3 :  Saturday, June 17 ~ 9 a.m.

                     Location : Millard Airport, 6161 S 132nd Street, Omaha, NE  68137

                         ***Covers flying portion.  Scouts will need parental permission to take a flight under the Young Eagle Program.

Cost:   There is no cost.
