Pinewood Derby in Shenandoah, IA

Cub Scouts and their families may come race their pinewood derby car. Event begins Friday evening at 6 p.m. with car weigh-in and registration (car will be impounded at this time). A light supper will be served. There will also be roller skating for the participants. Overnight stays are encouraged, so bring sleeping bags, mats, etc. Registration Saturday morning will begin 8 a.m. District races will begin at 9 a.m. Open class races will be run throughout the day as tracks open up, otherwise they will be after district races.

When:  March 31, 6:00 PM - April 1, 12:00 PM

Where:  Porter's Lake Roller Rink - 1659 B Ave, Shenandoah, IA 51601

Cost:  

• Racers - $20 ($30 starting 3/25)
• Spectator - overnight stay - $10 ($20 starting 3/25)
• Spectator - Saturday only - $5 (no meals)

Includes:  Overnight for racers and spectators includes light dinner, roller skating, breakfast, activities and trophies for the winners.
