OH Cub Day Camp

Event Details

Ohwahnasee District's
Summer Cub Day Camp

Dinosaur Roar!  The Ohwahnasee 2020 Day Camps are all about Dinosaurs.  Come explore Great Western park and take part in fun activities related to STEM, nature, shooting sports, games and more that take us back in time to when Dinosaurs roamed.  Day camps are for registered Cub Scouts entering the 1st-5th grades the following school year. Siblings and/or friends of scouts of the required age may attend but will not be able to participate in the shooting sports for safety reasons.  An alternate activity will be provided for them during that time.  Walk-Ins are allowed on the day of the event but will need to pay an additional fee and there is no guarantee a t-shirt or patch will be available.  Those entering the 1st grade must be accompanied by an 'adult partner' during their participation.  Although individual Cub Scouts are able to participate in any day camp, it is strongly encouraged for Cub Scouts to attend with their friends and adults from the same den or pack; and for the pack's camping coordinator to submit a single registration for all those attending.  So gather up your Dino friends, and come on out for a great adventure!  Cub Scout Day Camps are organized by the Mid-America Council, Boy Scouts of America and conducted by volunteers from the local area.  Day camps are also supported by a number of adult and youth staff members.  Scouts, BS Den Chiefs may also support the day camp program by assisting the Cub Scouts through camp.  Please register two weeks before the event to ensure t-shirt and patch availability.  Please bring Health Form (Parts A & B), sack lunch and water bottle
