Ralston Fire Department Program

The Ralston Fire Department invites you to help build your future career in emergency response services, participate in community outreach and meet the challenges of a highly competitive program. The goal of this program is to introduce you to the exciting field of firefighting and EMT through hands-on experiences. WHEN
Sept. 23rd from 7:00-8:30pm - Kick-off/informational night
Sept. 30th from 7:00-8:30pm - Gear assignments, student interdictions, elections, post rules and regulations
Oct. 14th from 7:00-8:30pm - Basic EMS skill and patient assessment
Oct. 21th from 7:00-8:30pm - Trauma assessment basic first aid skills
Oct. 28th from 7:00-8:30pm - Stop the Bleed class for all students (You will receive a Stop the Bleed certificate)
Nov. 11th from 7:00-8:30pm - EMS scenarios
Nov. 18th from 7:00-8:30pm - Airway management and respiratory emergencies
Nov. 25th from 7:00-8:30pm - Cardiac emergencies and treatment causes.
Dec. 9th from 7:00-8:30pm - CPR class for all students (You will receive a CPR certificate)
Dec. 16th from 7:00-8:30pm - End of the year gathering
