Are you interested in becoming an airline pilot? What about an airport administrator? Have you ever thought of being an air traffic controller? Or what about working for an aircraft management company? If any of these jobs sound interesting to you, then join Post 518, the University of Nebraska at Omaha Aviation Institute’s Aviation Exploring Post. The aviation and aerospace industries are exciting, dynamic, and ever-changing. In Post 518 you will be given the latest information available on careers in aviation and aerospace through tours, flight simulation, guest speakers, and interactive learning. The group will meet once a month, on a Saturday, schedule will be finalized at the kick-off meeting. We invite you to join us for our kick-off meeting on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, on the UNO Campus in the Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center at 6:30 PM. This meeting will last approximately 1 hour. Parents and friends are welcome to attend as well. Light refreshments will be served.
