The OPD Explorer Post #591 is designed to acquaint young adults with the nature and complexity of law enforcement as they consider it as a potential career. Participants go through a mini police academy and receive training in areas such as search and seizure, radio procedures, traffic stops, and crime scene investigations. Explorer program also challenges them to become responsible, active citizens in their communities. Please attend one of the kick-off dates on September 12th or 13th. The cost for this program is $50.
