Tri County Fire Corps Explorer Program

Event Details

Explorer students are given the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities focused on firefighting/EMT. Training in areas such as CPR/AED, fire extinguishers, ropes and knots, hose rolls, search and rescue, ladders, hazmat awareness and ventilation will be covered.

When registering for this program there will be two different dates and times available. The first informational session will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Metro CC Applied Technology Center located at 10407 State St. and the second informational session will be held from 9am to 11am at the Omaha Fire Department Training center located at 11616 Rainwood Rd. Please pick the best session that works for you.

KICK OFF - March 28, 2018 (6:00 - 8:00pm) or March 31, 2018 (9:00 - 11:00am)
Please attend one of the informational meetings to learn more about the proram.

WHEN
The remaining sessions after the kick-off will take place every Saturday starting April 7th until June 10th. Each session will begin at 8 AM until Noon. Locations vary depending on the week. Schedule will be sent out.
