Merit Badge Saturdays

Join Scouts from all over our area to earn merit badges taught by professionals in the trades!

Scouts who register for the full day (taking the morning and afternoon class) are encouraged to bring a sack lunch.  The afternoon class will start promptly at 1:00 PM.  Scouts must come prepared with a writing utensil, notebook, and a printed copy of the linked merit badge workbook.  Scouts must provide their own merit badge blue card signed by their Scoutmaster.  For completion of the merit badge, all prerequisites must be completed prior to the class.

When:  2nd Saturday of each month (January - May)

• January 13 (Plumbing & Electricity)
• February 10 (Painting & Home Repairs¹)
• March 10 (Welding)
• April 14 (First Aid & Architecture)
• May 12 (Surveying²)

Where:  ABC Training Facility

Cost:  

• Scouts - $15 per merit badge
• Includes:  building materials and supplies

Notes:

1. Participants for Home Repairs must have already completed Plumbing, Electricity, and Painting merit badges.
2. Participants for Surveying must be at least age 14.
