Wilderness First Aid Training

Event Details

Wilderness first aid training focuses on the prevention, assessment, and treatment for an ill or injured person in a remote environment where definitive care by a physician and/or rapid transport is not readily available. This course is intended for anyone planning a remote high adventure experience, including BSA High Adventure Bases.

Participants must be at least 14 years old, registered with the BSA, and hold a current First Aid/CPR certification.

Class fee includes lunch both days.


Course (Approx. 16 hours)
Skills Practice Approx. 4 hours

Where: Cornhusker Council Outdoor Education Center 800 south 120th Street Walton, NE

When:  February 3 and February 4 (both days are required)
