Webelos Woods

Event Details

Webelos Woods will be held October 12th, 2024, at the Outdoor Education Center located at 800 South 120th Street, Walton, NE 68520.

Webelos Woods is open to all Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts (maximum 80 participants).

What is Webelos Woods?
Webelos Woods is an overnight campout that introduces 4th and 5th grade Webelos/AOLs, and their parents, to camping using the patrol method in a Scouts BSA led outdoor adventure, supervised by Scouts BSA leaders.

To attend Webelos Woods, Scouts must have a current membership with the Boy Scouts of America and be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If a parent or legal guardian cannot attend, a Webelos or Arrow of Light Scout may participate under the supervision of at least two registered pack leaders.

Like all Scouting events, Webelos Woods requires that each troop and pack participant have BSA Medical Forms Part A and B in their possession for all Scouts and Adults attending the event. Each unit is expected to bring a binder or folder containing these forms in the unlikely event that medical care is required beyond first aid.
