Outdoor Preparedness
Outdoor Preparedness
- Are you a Cub Scout or Scouts BSA leader who wonders how to deliver an excellent Outdoor Program?
- Are you interested in developing your skills in the outdoors, and learn from other Scouters who deliver significant outdoor program?
Then, this is the program for you!
At the end of this course, you will receive completion of IOLS, and the outdoor portion of BALOO training.
To fully complete BALOO, the subsequent BALOO online training needs to be completed, preferably bringing your certificates to the training so we can sign you off!
Of course, we're teaching an Outdoors course, so naturally it will take place in the outdoors, so personal preparation for the elements is necessary. It's also an overnight course, so we will be camping outdoors as part of our learning. Please see the attachments for a more full description of the things to bring. Also, please see the attachments for a proposed schedule, the necessary medical forms. We're looking forward to your participation!
***All participants need to take the BALOO online training in order to get credit for both IOLS and BALOO
**** This is an overnight campout course, tents are required.
