Welcome to BALOO training! It is the Cub Scout leader training required for any Cub Scout den or pack outdoor event, including pack camping overnighters and Webelos den overnighters. 
Joins us, September 18 and spend 18 hours (including an overnight campout) learning about BALOO (Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation)!
This course will cover the following topics: Health and Safety, Cub Scouts and GPS, Aquatics, Gear Selection, Nature and Hiking, Outdoor Ethics, Cooking and Sanitation, First Aid, Practical Knife Safety for Cub Scouts, Stoves, Lanterns and Fire Safety, Basic Knots for Cub Scouts, Program Planning for Cub Scout Events, Campsite Selection, Duty to God Service, Meal planning, Large Group Games, Campfire Planning, Outdoor Ceremonies.
Additionally the course will provide (per participant)
3 meals plus a cracker barrel snack
A basic first aid kit
Course binder with reference materials to the topic listed above
A copy of A Guide to Safe Scouting

Prerequisites: 

Proof that the online BALOO portion of the course has been completed
Proof of current youth protection training.
