Scout Expo at Woods Park (33rd and J), Saturday Oct 10, 2026. 

Get ready for a day of adventure, excitement, and family fun! The Cornhusker Council, Scouting America invites the public to Scout Expo, an interactive outdoor event at Woods Park in Lincoln on October 10th from 9am – noon.

Scout Expo gives families an opportunity to experience Scouting firsthand by exploring a variety of hands-on activities hosted by local Scout units. Throughout the park, Cub Scout Packs, Scouts BSA Troops, Venturing Crews, and other Scouting programs will showcase the adventures that make Scouting one of America's premier youth leadership organizations.

Visitors can try their hand at camping skills, outdoor cooking, knot tying, first aid demonstrations, pioneering projects, STEM activities, games, and other exciting challenges. Families will have the chance to meet local Scouts and volunteers, ask questions, and discover how Scouting helps young people build confidence, leadership, character, and lifelong friendships.
