Wilderness First Aid

Wilderness and Remote First Aid is a 16-hour course that provides individuals a foundation of first aid knowledge and skills to be able to respond to emergencies and give care in areas that do not have immediate access to EMS response. This includes wilderness and remote environments and urban disasters, such as earthquakes and hurricanes. The certificate issued (Wilderness and Remote First Aid) is valid for 2 years. This training is designed for individuals who are at least 14 years of age and hold a current certificate in Adult CPR/AED. You will need to bring proof of your Adult CPR/AED certification to the course.
The course is being offered on the following dates:
Thursday Jun 1st, 6-10pm
Friday June 2nd 6-10pm
Saturday June 3rd 8am-5pm
You MUST attend all 3 sessions to complete the course. The course will be held at the Red Cross Training Center at 220 Oakcreek Drive, Lincoln, NE 68528
Meals are not provided for this training. There are fast food places nearby and a refrigerator and microwave in the Red Cross building.
