Please register ALL ATTENDING unit members on the SAME registration.

Live the 1800-1840's Fur Trade era in a weekend at Camp Augustine. Co-hosted with the United Nebraska Muzzleloaders Association.

Events to experience: muzzleloader range, tomahawk throwing, blacksmithing, flint and steel fire starting, primitive arrow making, trapping, hide tanning, two man saw use, teepee set up class. As well as many other demonstrations and skills shown by Mountain Men and women.
There will be a traders row with Fur Trade era trade goods to help outfit you for future adventures as well as Strinz Tipi on hand to set you and your troop up with any canvas goods you may need.

A favorite for Scouts is the round robin trade blanket as well as individual scouts trade blanket.

Scouts and Scouters are encouraged to dress in primitive attire and there will be a contest for best dressed.

John Henderson of Lease-A-Lodge has tipis, wall tents and several other set-ups that can be rented for the weekend to give your troop even more of a Fur Trade experience.

Due the nature of the activities, this will be for Boy Scouts and second year Webelos only. A future event will be planned for A Cub Scout day camp.
