May 1-3 & May 15-17, 2026
K-M Scout Ranch

All Scout leaders are invited to Montana Council's 2026 Woodbadge, which will be held at the beautiful K-M Scout Ranch in Central Montana.  This is the top leadership course in Scouting America for both volunteers and professionals. You will have fun!

When: Two Weekends - May 1-3 & 15-17 - Participants are encouraged to arrive the evening before each course weekend begins. Dinner will not be provided for early arrival; please eat before arrival or bring your own meal. Please do not arrive before 6pm 

Where: K-M Scout Ranch, Hilger, Montana

Cost

Early Bird - $300 (if $150 deposit paid by 12/31/25 and paid in full by 4/1/26)

Regular - $350 (if paid in full by 4/1/2026)

Late - $400 if not paid in full by April 1, 2026


Trained volunteer leadership is one of the keys to a successful Scouting experience. As the core leadership skills training course for Scouting America, Wood Badge focuses on strengthening each volunteer’s ability to work with and lead groups of youth and adults.

Basic Leadership Training for your current position within scouting is required to attend Wood Badge. Click Here for more Information  

Completed Med Forms ABC required by all participants 

Weather and Tents - Participants should plan to bring their own tent. Weather at K-M Scout Ranch in May can be unpredictable - BE PREPARED for cold and snowy weather.
