ADMINISTRATION NOTES

  • Every Adult and Scout attending WMTMBU must register, either with a Troop or individually. This is for tracking and liability insurance requirement purposes.
  • All adults staying overnight MUST be registered members of Scouting America
  • WMTMBU is a participation-required event. In order to achieve success in completing the requirements and earn those Merit Badges, Scouts must be actively engaged during the training sessions. Simply being present does not satisfy the participation requirement.
  • Phone Policy this year will be more rigorously enforced. We ask the Scoutmasters to take responsibility for their units and ensure their Scouts do not disrupt others by using electronic devices inappropriately and irresponsibly. As an example, no phones after lights out. Last year, phone usage after lights out was extremely disruptive to other Scouts' ability to sleep. Use during the Merit Badge classes if they are allowed by the counselor.
