Black Otter Polar Day 2026
A Black Otter District Event
When: January 3rd from 9am-1pm
Where: Riverfront Park-Fireplace shelter
Who: Lion-AOLs Cub Scouts
Cost: $10 per Cub Scout and $5 per Adult

 

ALL Lions and Tigers must have a Grown Up with them at all times. Units are responsible for providing their own adequate leadership during this event.

EVERYONE should bring:
* Their 6 essentials
* A hot/cold cup for cocoa
* Warm layered clothing

UNITS should bring:
* Unit flag
* Med forms

Be sure to dress warm! Riverfront Park stays fairly chilly until the sun peeks over the South Hills. Polar Day happens in all types of weather so plan ahead and encourage each attendee to bring extra layers. Hot cocoa will be available during the event so please have each person bring their own hot cup for use as needed.
