Get ready for three action-packed days of prehistoric adventure at Prickly Pear Dino Discovery Camp!
Join us June 10–12 from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM at the Lewis & Clark County Fairgrounds for an unforgettable Cub Scout day camp filled with exploration, hands-on activities, and dino-sized fun. Check-in begins at 8:45 AM each day, and all Scouts should be picked up by 4:00 PM.
Cost:
- $50 per camper for the full three-day camp
- $20 per day option available
- Each parent volunteer that volunteers 2 or 3 days will receive a coupon code for 50% off a child’s registration
This is an open event—youth do NOT have to be registered Scouts to attend! Invite your friends!
All participants must bring Medical Form Parts A & B—no exceptions.
Please note that children must be Cub Scout age to be eligible to attend the Day Camp - 5 years old through 5th grade.
Cubs will receive their official camp t-shirt on the first day, if your child has one, please wear a Scouting t-shirt on Day 1 (no uniforms at camp). After that, Scouts should wear their camp shirt for the remainder of camp.
A Trading Post will be open during lunch and at the end of each day, where Scouts can use cash or Scout Bucks for snacks and fun items.
On Friday, June 12 at 3:00 PM, families and friends are invited to join us for a special camp presentation. Scouts may be checked out to go home once the program concludes.
As a thank-you to the Fairgrounds, we’ll also host a trash clean-up service project later this summer—more details coming soon!
What to Bring Each Day:
- Medical Form Parts A & B (click here if form needed)
- Water bottle
- Small backpack
- Lunch (no refrigeration available)
- Sweatshirt & rain jacket
- Sunscreen
- Hat
- Closed-toe shoes
- Cash or Scout Bucks (optional, for Trading Post)
