National Youth Leadership Training is an exciting, action-packed program designed for councils to provide youth members with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home units and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others. The course will be held at K-M Scout Ranch near Lewistown, MT

Transportation to/from camp will not be provided  

Participant Requirements:

By the start date of the course, participants must:

• Be registered members of Scouting America
• Be at least 13 years old
• Have completed Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST) or for Crews (if part of a Venture Crew)
• Be First Class rank or above (for Scouts BSA members)
• Have the approval of your unit leader

A deposit of $100 is required at the time of registration.

Total Cost $315 ($50 late fee applied if not paid in full before 5/15/26) 2 T-shirts are included in the price. Any other additional shirts are $15. 

Printed medical form (Parts A, B, & C) required for each participant

NYLT SCHOLARSHIPS
A limited number of camp scholarships are available for Montana Council Scouts based on financial need. A scholarship can be requested for up to half of the camp fees. Scholarship forms will be posted here when they become available.
