KLONDIKE DERBY

January 16-18, 2026

Years ago, hearty men and women raced across the frozen Alaskan wilderness by means of dogs and sleds answering the call of the wild in search of gold. This year young men and women and their sleds are once again called to the Coram horse pasture to test their winter camping skills, knowledge of scout craft, and strength of spirit.  Are your scouts willing to “Be Prepared” for whatever adventure lay ahead?  Will your patrol be the one to meet the challenge and bring back gold?

When: January 16-18, 2026

Who: -Scouts and Adult Scouters from the Northwest District
          -Arrow of Light- Saturday only
Cost: -$25.00 per Scout and Scouter
          -$15.00 per AOL Scout
Registration: Closes December 20th, 2025 - All registrations must be done through this site, no late regisrations will be allowed

Arrival: Anytime after 2pm on Friday
Check-in:  Friday starting at 5:30pm
 

There will be straw available that can be used under tents. About ½ bale of straw is sufficient for a 3–4-man tent. It is recommended that you use an additional tarp under the tent to reduce moisture from the snow. Troops must sign-up for the number of bales they will need. Please only request the minimum amount to meet your needs.
