MOHAB TO PAUSE AFTER 2026 SEASON

In collaboration with the Boone and Crockett Club, Montana Council has made the difficult decision to PAUSE the Montana Outdoor High Adventure Base (MOHAB) program after the 2026 season. MOHAB will not operate in 2027 or 2028, with a decision regarding 2029 operations to be made by the end of 2027.

This decision was made mutually with the Boone and Crockett Club after careful consideration of multiple factors. Montana Council remains committed to continued collaboration with the Boone and Crockett Club and to promoting and advocating for youth access to public forest lands, parks, and meaningful outdoor educational experiences.

We are grateful for all the support and participation from Scouts and Scouters across the country who, for over the past 15 years, have made MOHAB such an impactful experience. We look forward to what the future holds!
