Should you BALOO? Of Course!
Bring the outdoor experience to your Pack
When: March 1st & 2nd - a 1.5 day training with a required overnight (indoor)
Where: Glendive Moose Lodge, 415 N Merrill Ave
Cost: FREE! Fees for leader position-required training are included in council annual adult registration fee
Who: All Registered Cub Scout Leaders. Any leader wanting to bring the outdoor experience to the unit is invited. Scouting America requires that any Cub Scout Pack holding an overnight activity must have at least 1 BALOO trained adult.
Prerequisite Requirement: There is a required 35-minute online portion to this course that MUST be completed at https://my.scouting.org BEFORE attending the in-person campout. Search for BALOO under the Cub Scout Training Catalog. Make sure to print off your certificate and bring it with you for check-in.
What to Bring:
- Certificate for above training
- Parts A & B of the BSA Medical Form
- Items needed to camp overnight (small tent, sleeping bag, etc)
- Water bottle
- Eating utensils
- Chair
- ENTHUSIASM !!
Meals Provided: lunch and dinner Saturday and breakfast Sunday morning
A minimum of 5 participants is required to hold the course. Tell your friends!
