Help Ranger Duane prepare Melita Island for summer camp!

Memorial Day Weekend, May 23-26, 2025

Ranger Duane needs your help setting up for summer camp 2025. Adult Scouters, Scouts BSA youth, and Venturing youth are invited to spend the weekend volunteering their time helping us prepare for summer campers.  Work projects will include tent and cot setup, painting, cleaning, equipment setup and more!

Please note: This is a WORK WEEKEND. While there will be plenty of time for fellowship and socializing, the primary focus of the weekend is service. All participants in attendance will be expected to spend their time working on camp projects.

All participants must be currently registered members of Scouting America

What to Bring: BSA Medical Form (Parts A & B), Work clothes that can get dirty, work gloves, water bottle, sleeping bag/pillow, closed toe shoes, toiletries, sunscreen, and a cheeful spirit!

Cost – FREE (in exchange for your service)

Meals will be provided starting with Saturday Breakfast 

Tent space, toilets, and showers will be available.

Parking and Boat Shuttles:
Plan to arrive and park at Melita Island Gateway, 34490 US Hwy 93, Big Arm MT

Arrival Boat Shuttles:
Friday Night: 6:00pm, 8:30pm
Saturday Morning: 7:30am
