Join us for Dino Discovery Day at Clark Park in Butte on August 8, 2026! Fossils, dinosaurs, games, crafts, outdoor fun, and Scouting adventures await. Don't miss this prehistoric adventure!

• This is an open event—youth do NOT have to be registered Scouts to attend! Invite your friends!
• All participants must bring Medical Form Parts A & B—no exceptions.
• Please note that children must be Cub Scout age to be eligible to attend the Cub Scout Dino Day - Kindergarten through 5th grade.
• Event is 9am-4pm. Drop off starts at 8:45am.

Required & Essential Items

• Medical Forms: Completed Scouting America health forms (Parts A & B), no exceptions.
• Sun Protection: Sunscreen, chapstick with SPF, and a brimmed hat.
• Hydration: A large, refillable water bottle or hydration pack.
• Nutrition: A nutritious, packed lunch and a couple of extra energy-boosting snacks.
• Rain Gear: A lightweight raincoat or poncho. 

Clothing & Footwear

• Activity Clothes: Clothes that can get dirty, muddy, or wet. It is often recommended to dress in layers.
• Footwear: Sturdy, closed-toe shoes or hiking boots. Absolutely no sandals or Crocs are permitted.

Optional / Comfort Items

• Backpack: A daypack or sling bag to carry all personal items easily during camp activities.
